Questions

Is Instagram DM automation allowed?
Yes, when it runs on Meta's official API. Chat33 is an approved Meta Tech Provider and only sends messages the Instagram API permits, such as one private reply to a comment and replies inside an open conversation. Tools that log in with your password and imitate a person are the ones that get accounts restricted.
Does Chat33 need my Instagram password?
No. You connect your account through Instagram's own login screen, and Chat33 never sees or stores your password. You can disconnect at any time from the Channels page.
Does it work with a personal Instagram account?
No. Meta's messaging API only works with professional accounts, which means a business or creator account. Switching a personal account to a creator or business account is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app settings.
Can I send a link in the DM that answers a comment?
Yes. The DM a commenter receives can carry your link as text or as a button, and tracked links count every click per flow. You can also add a public reply under the comment, picked at random from up to 15 variants.
What happens after the first DM?
Meta allows one private reply per comment, so the first DM is the one message a comment can trigger. Once the person writes back, the conversation is open and a DM keyword flow can continue it. Flows do not sit and wait for a reply.
