A hard hourly limit
AI assistants can send at most 100 messages and comment replies an hour per account, well inside Instagram's own limits.

- Can Claude reply to Instagram DMs?
- Yes, with Chat33 connected. Claude can list your Instagram and Facebook conversations, read a thread and reply from your account. Instagram only accepts replies within 24 hours of the person's last message, and Claude asks you before it sends.
- Can Claude build an Instagram comment-to-DM automation?
- Yes. Describe it in a sentence, for example "anyone who comments PRICE on my latest Reel gets a DM with my link". Chat33 creates the automation as a draft on your account and turns it on when you tell Claude to.
- Is this allowed by Instagram?
- Chat33 uses Instagram's official API through Meta's login, never browser automation or your password. Instagram's own limits apply: one private reply per comment within 7 days, and DMs only within the 24-hour window.
- Do I need to know how to build flows?
- No. Claude writes the automation from your description. You can still open it in the Chat33 dashboard and edit it in the visual editor if you want to.
- What does it cost?
- The Claude connection works on every Chat33 plan, including Free. Your Chat33 plan's limits on contacts, automations and connected accounts apply.
- Does it work with Facebook too?
- Yes. Comment-to-DM automations, inbox replies and comment replies work on Facebook Pages as well as Instagram professional accounts.
- How do I disconnect Claude?
- In Chat33, open Settings, then API Keys, then Connected AI apps, and click Disconnect. Claude loses access immediately.
